Updates

4.15.2018 --- Bunny is still moving forward with the heart donor list, she will see the surgeon in a month or two. In the mean time, we continue to walk just about everyday, eat healthy and get plenty of rest. Easter service was great, it was a family service with all of the children. The weather is getting warm, more riding time for us; Bunny is limited on the amount of time on the bike and the length of the rides. We continue to be available to serve with our CMA chapter (Angel Riders). We started doing our craft fair selling after a year lay off, God has blessed us.

2.14.2018 --- Bunny has completed her cardiac rehab and is doing a little better than before the rehab; she still goes to the heart transplant team clinic once a month for observation. Gunny's ankle/foot is healing and he is walking much better and riding a lot more now. Our CMA chapter "Angel Riders" is thriving; Bunny is still the Treasurer and Gunny is still Road Captain. God is Good

11.20.2017 --- A lot has happened in the last several months. Gunny crashed and totaled his bike and in the process broke eight bones in lower leg, ankle and foot; which required surgery with hardware. Shortly after this, Bunny had a heart attack and found out that she has Congestive Heart Failure. After several hospital visits for both, Gunny is on the mend, while Bunny requires a new heart. It is a long process to be placed on the heart transplant list and is moving forward. During all of this, both Gunny and Bunny's fathers passed away and they could'nt get away to the funerals. Gunny is now walking without a cast or crutches and Bunny is going to cardiac rehab three times a week. On a side note: the bike has been rebuilt and both are riding again but taking it easy. It has been a trial during this period and with God's strength both are in good spirits but tired and relying more on God and friends. The CMA and Church family have been a God send.

3.22.2017 --- Spring is here and our allergies are in full swing. With the wet winter, the vegetation has grown a lot. We continue to be active in CMA as we are officers again; this is the third year for us. A couple of weeks ago we conducted a fund raiser for "Run for the Son" at Chick-fil-A. We met the minimum amount and then some; now our Ministry partners will receive the funds. Bunny is getting over Sinuitus and Bronchitus and doing fairly well. Gunny had some biopsies done on his skin and one of the spots is cancerous; he will return to the VA hospital and have more skin removed; prayerfully, that will be the end of it.         Jehovah Rapha (God is our Healer)

1.5.2017 --- The New Year has arrived and it looks to be a glorious year. We are praying for a Revival in this country which is long over due. The end is near; how is your relationship with Jesus? Set your eyes and thoughts on Him to guide you through this new year. Do Not be discouraged by the past events; look forward to what God has planned for your life. Maranatha (God come soon)

10.8.2016 --- We were invited to set-up our Nomads4Jesus booth at a biker event called 777 Rendezvous. A lot of motorcycle ministries from the area were there for fellowship.

10.1.2016 --- We had a Chapter picnic with our CAM Angel riders in Hemet, CA. There was a nice turn-out and plenty of food, as always.

9.9-11.2016 --- We went to our CMA So Cal State Rally in Vista, CA this weekend. We had a great time reuniting with old friends and meeting new ones. This year we took our trailer, it made the trip comfortable. On Sunday, after the rally was finished, we spent a few days at So Carlsbad State Beach, it was dry camping, but was nice.

7.23.2016 --- Two of Gunny's daughters were in the area, so we all went to breakfast for a visit; we had a nice time.

7.18.2016 --- While having xrays of Bunny's back for surgery, the doctor noticed a Splenetic Artery Calcification. Bunny went to an artery surgeon for diagnoses; the doctor recommended just moniter the artery for now. Good, we didn't need another surgery.

7.11.2016 --- Gunny had a lump/knot removed from his back left shoulder; surgery was a success.

6.29.2016 --- Bunny had lower back neurosurgery to correct a problem with a disc. The surgery was a success, now it is time to heal. Jehova Rapha (the Lord is our Healer)

5.1.2016 --- Bunny is still having back issues; the steroid injections are helping some, but not getting rid of the pain. The next step is a consult with a Neurosurgeon. Something has to be done about the sciatica and sacroilleitis. She is in God's hands. Jehovah Rapha (the Lord our Healer)

4.8.2016 --- We have had a few rides with our chapter: Angel Riders. Bunny is still the Treasurer and Gunny is still the Road Captain. Bunny went to a CMA Women's conference in Reno, NV this past weekend. There were a couple of hundred women there from different parts of the USA. Bunny was truly blessed. Jehovah continues to guide us.

1.14.2016 --- All quiet here on the home front. We had a good New Year and Christmas. Still in So Cal for the time being. We have a lot of upcoming events with our CMA chapter. God is Mercy

11.18.2015 --- Gunny had a B-day on 10.26.2015, he is now 29 and counting. Bunny's GI is still healing and she is very strict on her diet; we are walking most everyday since the weather has been fairly nice. We spent a week at Lake Perris in their RV Park, nice and quiet this time of year. We wish all a Happy Thanksgiving. (what are you thankful for?)

10.12.2015 --- We have had quite a ride since our last update. We live in our travel trailer and the following have broken and been replaced or repaired: water heater / refrigerator / awning / starter and battery on the bike / starter on the caravan / shocks on the van / shocks on the trailer / a couple of flat tires. To top it all off, Bunny spent a week in the hospital with a bowel blockage. There were hundreds of prayers going up and the blockage cleared. She is on soft foods for now with a special diet to follow. All we can say is the LORD has given us strength to endure. We look forward to the next trial. God is Faithful

8.25.2015 --- We spent this past weekend at Green Oak Ranch in Vista CA for a CMA State Rally. It was a joyous time to spend time with our friends and the Lord. On Saturday evening a concert was held with Darrell Mansfield (a Christian Rock & Blues Band). It was difficult to leave that place and come back to the world. God is Good

7.1.2015 --- We set up our Nomads4Jesus.org booth at the Menifee, CA Independence Day celebration last Saturday. Our ministry was blessed and we spoke with a lot of people and the Name of Jesus was procalimed. God is in control

6.1.2015 --- We returned from a 1560 mile / 18 day bike trip two days ago. We visited Fresno, Mariposa, Yosemite National Park, Red Bluff, Nicholaus, Auburn and Bakersfield; all in CA. We had a very fun time visiting with family and friends; but, it is good to be home with our church and CMA family. Jehovah Nissi (The Lord is our Banner)

4.21.2015 --- We continue to participate with our CMA Chapter "Angel Riders". We are preparing for the Laughlin River Run this week, we will go for a few days. Bunny had the pleasure of a root canal and a crown yesterday, what fun. We hope it is God's will for us to go to CMA's "Changing of the Colors" Rally in Hatfield, Arkansas in October. We will continue to save money in hopes of going. Jehovah Jireh (God will provide)

3.31.2015 --- On Saturday our CMA Chapter "Angel Riders" went on a prayer ride around Temecula Valley, CA. We stopped at various places and prayed for our country, state, churches, government, military and our CMA ministry. The ride took about four hours and at our last stop in Lake Elsinore, CA, we met a homeless fellow and his dog. Gunny & Bunny invited Andrew to share a meal with us; he and two other friends joined us as we discussed Jesus and how He fits into our lives. That was a perfect ending to a perfect day. Jehovah Jireh (God Provides)

2.27.2015 --- We have been very involved with our CMA chapter; conducting outreaches, group rides and meetings. Tammy has had three epidural injections in her lumbar to relieve the pain, so far it is working. We are making plans for many upcoming events this spring and summer with CMA. We continue to fellowship with Hope Christian Church of Menifee, CA. Also, we have been having an in depth study of the book of Revelation on Wednesday evenings; are you prepared for the times that are coming, soon?   (God is our Hope)

1.21.2015 --- A New Year for doing more of the Lord's work. We spent Christmas with daughter #3 (Racheal & Rick) in Vista, CA, we had a nice visit. Tammy was working a lot doing merchandising for a couple of different companies; she worked so hard, it messed up her back. She has 2 bulging discs, a tear and spinal stenosis; needless to say, she is no longer working. Gunny, Christmas before last, fractured 2 vertebrae and has osteopina; it took until now to figure that out, he just thought he had a sore back.

We have joined a forming chapter of CMA in Temecula Valley, CA. Tammy is the Treasurer and Gunny is the Road Captain. We have been pretty involved in the chapter and will continue to be. The Lord is our Shepherd.

10.4.2014 --- We set up our craft booth at a Bike Rally in Yucaipa, CA; there were a couple of hundred people there and we were able to talk with a lot of them. Our sells did well also and we gave out free Bibles and Tracts. A good day with fellow believers. Koinonia (fellowship)

9.10.2014 --- We went to the Christian Motorcyclist's Association (CMA) So Cal state rally a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. We continue to conduct our craft fairs either here at the park or nearby; we have a big Christian Bikers Rally coming up and we will set up our Nomads4Jesus.org booth there. We bought Tammy a used car, it is a 2000 Dodge Caravan; we had to do some repairs, but is running fine now.

7.21.2014 --- Over the past month we have been in a few craft fairs selling our crafts, the Lord has blessed us quite well. We continue to attend Hope Christian Church in Menifee, CA and truly enjoy the fellowship and teachings. We also attend a Bible Study on Wednesday evenings and are learning about the book of Revelation. Jehovah Jireh (the Lord provides)

6.18.2014 --- Last week we spent the week in the mountains in a cabin near the town of Idyllwild, CA. It was nice to get away and feel the peace and quiet of God's creation. Tammy has been working pretty steady at various stores doing her merchandising. We are attending a Bible Study on Wednesday nights in the book of Revelation, very enlightening. God is Good

5.9.2014 --- This past weekend we spent the day on a ride for "Run for the Son" with the Christian Motorcyclist's Association. This annual fund raiser is used for: Home Missionaries, The Jesus Film, Open Door Ministries and Missionary Ventures International. We don't have the final amount of money raised yet, but it will be in the millions since it is a world wide fund raiser.

We moved last Tuesday and after checking in to the new RV Resort, the van would not start. Jump Starting did not work, so we had to get towed to the campsite. The van is now in the shop to replace the starter, not an inexpensive repair, should be done today. God continues to provide (Jehovah Jireh)

4.8.2014 --- We spent the weekend at MAX 2014 in Orange County, CA selling at the event. Our friend "Big Dog" and his brothers ran the event. We were the odd balls at a Marine Aquarium Expo, but we did well selling, handing out tracts and Bibles. God is Awesome

3.12.2014 --- We continue to stay in So Cal bouncing between RV Parks and meeting new people. The Church we have been attending, that was meeting in an elementary school, will be moving to a larger middle school next week; the congregation is growing and was in need of a larger facility. Tammy is still working part time and Gunny continues to make the Disciple's Cross and Survival Bracelets; we had our first overseas order last month; we shipped some Paracord Motorcycle Vest Extenders to the United Kingdom. God provides (Jehovah Jireh)

2.3.2014 --- Have you made a New Year's Resolution? We are starting to work out more, it seems to give us more energy throughout the day. We spent the day at a friends to watch the Super Bowl, we are so glad the Bronco's did not win; serious Charger rivals you know. Gunny's back is getting better daily. Tammy is working as a demo lady at the local Ralph's grocery store, she likes it. We had to replace the back tire on the bike, the Metzeler tire was coming apart, will not buy that brand again. God continues to provide for us.

1.10.2014 --- We spent Christmas with the youngest Daughter (Racheal) and her husband (Rick). We had a great time even though on Christmas Day Gunny was helping with their garage door and hurt his back pretty bad. His back stayed hurt for the next two weeks, but all is well now. Jehovah Rapha (The Lord our Healer)

12.20.2013 --- It has been some weird weather here; cold then warm, we prefer the warm. We sent out all of our Christmas Cards early this year to beet the Holiday Mail rush. Not much work this month, but we continue to sell at Craft Fairs on Saturday's, this is a blessing. Racheal, #3 daughter, has a new living place in Vista, CA and her husband, Rick is out here now. God is Good

11.19.2013 --- We spent Veteran's Day eating. First, pie at Coco's for free. Lunch at Sizzler's, for free. Dinner at Applebee's, for free. We do appreciate these and other establishments doing what they can for our Military Veterans. We continue to set-up at craft fairs and sell our products and also to share the love of Jesus. God is Good

11.4.2013 --- We have been taking it easy these past couple of weeks. We spend three weeks in the Thousand Trails RV Resort, then one week somewhere else.  We set-up at Craft Fairs when we can; we have met some friendly, Godly people at these events. We continue to plug along. Shalom (peace to you)

10.17.2013 --- Tammy has been helping out with the "Wheels of Grace" Christian Motorcycle magazine a couple of days a week. We will be vendors at Wickerd Farms Harvest Festival this coming weekend, then hopefully every Sunday afterwards. Jehovah Jireh (the Lord provides)

9.27.2013 --- This past weekend, we went to Oceanside beach to spend time with the three daughters and three of the grandsons. Jaclyn was here for a week from PA. We had a bonfire, smores and a good time. We don't know when all the girls will be together again. El Shaddai (God Almighty)

9.12.2013 --- Yesterday we remembered what happened 12 years ago and last year. Is this country any safer than it was then? I would like to know what happened in Libya last year that this administration is covering up. The million muslem march was a flop; thousands of un-permitted bikers showed up at the capital instead. Americans have had enough of this flip-flop non-leadership. Jesus lives; let's follow Him.

8.27.2013 --- We went to the So Cal Harvest Crusade in Anahiem, CA last Friday evening. Toby Mac was the guest musician and Pastor Greg Laurie gave a great invitation for the non-believers. A lot of people went forward to receive Christ on that night; the Heavens were filled with the angels rejoicing. Elohim (Creator)

8.15.2013 --- We are back at Wilderness Lakes RV Resort  for three weeks and it is HOT, over 100 degrees this week. Last Sunday we went to Jarupa Valley Calvary Chapel, it was their 30 year anniversary. David Hocking was the speaker; he tells it like it is, especially the direction this country is going. It won't be long until this country is a socialist society if this administration has it's way. It amazes me that if we are no longer a capitalist nation, other countries will not get the aid as they presently do. Are these people stupid? As Forrest Gump's mama says, "stupid is as stupid does". God help us

8.8.2013 --- We finally registered our trailer; we had to take it to the DMV for verification, pay the registration and tax, now we're broke. We are on our week out from the RV Resort and decided to dry camp. It's an adventure moving from one store parking lot to another; we've been kicked out of only one place so far. The generator works great as well as the rest of the appliance's; good to know. We are prepared for whatever comes our way. El Shaddai (God almighty)

7.23.2013 --- We have been fairly busy; helping with the Wheels of Grace Magazine. Tammy works part-time for a company doing re-sets and audits. Getting involved in our home church takes some of our time. We are doing well; getting caught up on our medical.

7.8.2013 --- Our plan was to dry-camp for the next week; we get three weeks in one Thousand Trails RV Resort, then out of that park for one week. We could go to another TTN RV Resort, but we want to stay in this area for various reasons. This RV Resort has allowed us to stay for our "week out" then continue with our three week stay. Great timing, as the temp is over 100 degrees. God is Good

7.1.2013 --- The town we are staying in, Menifee, CA, had it's Independence Day Celebration on Saturday 6.29.2013. The celebration was held at a park with several thousand people in attendance. We set-up our Ministry Booth in the 109 degree weather and were blessed by God. We had set a goal for selling our hand-crafted items and the Lord met that goal. We also gave out cold water, tracts and Bibles. At the end of the night was fireworks; awesome display. The Lord is our strength. El (the Strong One)

6.24.2013 --- We went to our monthly CMA meeting this past Saturday and afterwards rode to Julian, CA. It was a nice, hot ride; about 200 miles. We are in Wilderness Lakes for our three weeks. Harbor Freight was having a sale on generators; so, we bought a 4000 watt that runs everything in the trailer. Along with the generator, we bought a two year, free replacement warranty; no worries for two years. Unlike the generator we bought before leaving Florida that craped out the second day out. The Lord continues to take care of us.

6.18.2013 --- We spent our week away from Wilderness Lakes at an RV Resort in Perris, CA. It was a nice, clean park with many full-time residents. The draw back was that the phone service sucked. Since we also use an air card for internet service, this doubly sucked. We have been so accustomed to having phone service and instant internet access that when we don't have it the world seems to stand still. The things we take for granted are in reality a blessing. Jehovah Jireh (the Lord provides)

5.24.2013--- We got the van back and I think it runs better than ever; it should, it cost enough. Now we need to find work to pay for it. It seems like when we leave for awhile and come back, we end up spending all of our money on some need. The Lord will provide, He always does. We have two Craft Sales this weekend, hopefully this will help with our budget. God is in control

5.13.2013 --- We went to a couple of different Church's yesterday to see some old friends, although our home church is Revival Christian Fellowship. The van is still in the shop; waiting on some parts. Many parts are hard to get because the van is a 1987 and Ford does not use this engine anymore. We should have the van back this week, we can get only so many groceries on the bike at one time.

Gunny received two new crowns last week; he has been needing them for awhile, but waited to have our permanent dentist install them.

5.6.2013 --- On May 4th, we went on the "Run for the Son" ride with CMA Chapter "King's Disciples" from Riverside, CA. This is an annual fund raiser for the following charities: (1) Jesus Film (2) Open Doors (3) Missionary Ventures International. In 2012, CMA Chapters throughout the world raised $3,961,295.83. This money goes a long way to spread the Gospel. Jehovah Nissi (The Lord is our Banner)

4.28.2013 --- We finally made it to Menifee, CA, our destination. From Orlando, FL to here was 2666 miles. As soon as we got close to the RV Resort, the van engine started to act up, we will take it into the shop soon. We went to our home church today (Revival Christian Fellowship) and saw some of our friends; it is good to be home. God is Awesome

4.21.201--- We have been in Palm Springs, CA for a couple of days. On Saturday, we went to the Riverside, CA Chapter of CMA for their monthly meeting; met some new friends and we look forward to riding with them for the next few years. Also, we got in a 200 mile ride. On Sunday we went to  Calvary Chapel of Palm Desert. The body meets in the basement of a Jewish Temple; we had a great time. We were there about three years ago and they remembered us. Another eighty miles and we reach our final destination. God is so GOOD.

4.17.2013 --- We have been in Benson, AZ for a couple of days. We went for a ride yesterday to Tombstone, AZ and had a great time looking at the old west history and how rough it was back then. We head out tomorrow for CA. God is Merciful

4.13.2013 --- Here we are in El Paso, TX for a few days. The Masters PGA Golf Tournament is on TV and Tammy would not miss it. Tammy's B-day was on the 11th, so we went to Denny's restaurant for her free meal. Driving through central Texas was a bear with hills and a head wind; not to mention what it did to our fuel mileage. We found a Calvary Chapel here, so we will be going in the morning. Not a bad trip so far, God's Angels are doing their part. God is Dependable.

4.8.2013 --- We are staying in Lakehills, TX for a few days, we are way out in the boonies. It is quiet here with a lot of wildlife, the deer walk right through our campsite. Medina Lake, nearby, is at only 8% capacity, which is very little water, more like a pond. We have been very blessed with travel mercies from the Lord. God is Light

4.4.2013 --- We are currently in Robert, LA for a couple of days. Lots of green here and it's a nice park. The park is a Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp Resort.

The generator that we bought for this trip, broke down on the first night, so we are forced to use the trusty Honda generator on the van; we only need it when we are parked at a Walmart or Truck Stop. God has allowed His Angels to ride with us, safe travels for us.

3.24.2013 --- Here it is Palm Sunday: the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a colt or young donkey. The people laid down their garments and palm branches as a sign of respect for a King.

We are in Clermont, FL waiting for April so we can depart Florida and head west. The time here enables us to get everything in order for our trip. The last thing to do on the van is to replace the vacuum pump, which the warranty expired, so that was another expense. If all goes well, which it should, we will leave next Tuesday and spend a few days on the road until our first lay over in San Antonio, TX. We will stay there for a couple of weeks, then off to California. Jehovah Nissi (the Lord is our Banner)

3.6.2013 --- We did quite well at the Pioneer Days last week, with the Lord's help of course. Still making preparations for our trip west in three weeks. We will go see Daniel this weekend for the last time while in Florida. God is Good

2.26.2013 --- We had quite the storm today, even Tampa, FL had a tornado. The winds were very strong here in Zolfo Springs, FL, but we survived. Today we set up for the upcoming Zolfo Springs Pioneer Days starting tomorrow and ending on Sunday. This event draws a huge crowd, so we pray that we will be an encouragement to the ones we come in contact with these next five days. El Elyon (God most High)

2.13.2013 --- Here we are again in Zolfo Springs, FL for the next month. There will be a Pioneer Days here at the end of the month which we will be selling our crafts. We have been visiting with Daniel quite a bit; Gunny went to a Men's Conference at Calvary Chapel St Petersburg with him this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The RV Resorts are full this time of year and by the Grace of God we were able to get into a great RV site yesterday. My God is a Faithful God

2.7.2013 --- Our plans have changed, again; we will be leaving FL the first of April 2013. We now have a generator to run the trailer while we are on the road, for those nights in truck stops and Walmart parking lots. We would like to have all of the fuel money, in cash, saved for the trip to CA, which we have a good chunk of already. Bunny has worked a few nights re-stocking a Home Depot; it was manual labor for her, but she stuck to it. Gunny continues to make the Disciple's Cross' and Survival Bracelets and doing quite well selling them. God is Good

1.29.2013 --- We continue to ready ourselves for the journey back to So Cal. Getting the trailer ready and working to make fuel money and selling our crafts at Craft Fairs. Here at the RV Resort, Gunny gives a class on how to make the Survival Braclelets; the next class is this coming Saturday. Jehovah Nissi (the Lord is our Banner)

1.22.2013 --- We are back in Clermont, FL for the final time, then Wauchula for three weeks, then off to CA. We sold the Airstream today, none too soon either. We continue to get things ready for our trip home, looking forward to it. God is Faithful

1.8.2013 --- We are now in Wauchula, FL for a couple of weeks. We are thoroughly enjoying our new trailer and getting used to it; we have traveled with it for a couple of months. Tammy still has her rough days of missing Tina, it will get better with time and when we leave FL in a couple of months. The Airstream sits in storage waiting for a new home, it better be soon, before we leave. Jehovah Sabaoth (The Lord of Hosts)

12.27.2012 --- We spent Christmas with Daniel in St Petersburg, FL. Tammy prepared a traditional dinner and we all got fat. Christmas Eve night was spent at Calvary Chapel St Petersburg with about 4000 other people; it was held in the parking lot and was supposed to rain, but it didn't; imagine that. The worship and service was awesome, we are going to miss that church when we leave. Jehovah Shalom (The Lord our Peace)

12.18.2012 --- We spent this past weekend in St Petersburg, FL with Daniel and the Pug Patrol. We rode the bike this time and had a small Christmas Tree strapped to the outside of the saddle bag; Daniel didn't have a tree and we had an extra. We plan on spending Christmas with him and Tammy will fix dinner with all the trimmings. God is Gracious

12.8.2012 --- Went to a Biker Wedding today in Tavares, FL, it was outside at a park; beautiful weather. After the wedding, about twelve bikes went on a ride to just about the only hill in Florida. We don't care for the drivers here, but there sure are some nice roads to ride on. So far the roads in Florida have been the best out of all the states we've been to.

We set up our Ministry Tent at Gator Harley-Davidson in Leesburg, FL for the Lake County Annual Toy Run last week. We got to meet some great people, fellowship with them and we sold some products also; it was a good day.  On the way back to the RV Park, we saw a man and woman stranded in their car on the side of the road. They were from N.C. and were on their way home when the vehicle needed some repairs. After the repairs, they were broke, so we had cold drinks from the Toy Run that we gave them along with some gas money and of course we got to pray with them; God bless this couple. The Lord is Generous

11.29.2012 --- We are settling into our new home. We had a great Thanksgiving in St Petersburg, FL with Daniel and his parents, plenty of food and excitement; we will spend Christmas there also. The weather here has been in the mid to upper 70's for the past couple of weeks, we hope it will stay that way through winter. Tammy has been missing Tina a lot and she has her bad days; God will bring her through. Jehovah Rapha (The Lord is our Healer)

11.5.2012 --- We made it to Clermont, FL on 10.25.2012.  The Airstream Trailer's rear frame bent some more and is sagging like an eighty year old women's behind.  So, instead of repairing, AGAIN, we decided to go shopping for a decent used Toy Hauler.  After a few days of searching on the Internet, we narrowed the choice down to two.  Of course, Tammy's vote trumped Gunny's and we bought a 2008 Keystone, Springdale Toy Hauler with the toy section in the front and a side ramp door; just big enough for the Harley; it was located in Ocala, FL.  The Airstream is in storage until it sells, Gunny has been living in it for eleven years and has made five trips cross country.  This Springdale truly is a gift from God and an answer to many believers praying for us to find a new home.
We will be going to St Petersburg, FL for the weekend so Tammy can go through Tina's belongings and to visit with Daniel and the Pugs.  Jehovah Jireh (God is our Provider)

10.15.2012 --- The people in central PA are not courteous people.  We spent a day in Philadelphia touring the sites and of course had a Philly Cheese Steak or two.  We are currently in Lynchburg, VA for another week, then back to Florida for the winter; it won't be the same without Tina there.  We continue to sell our crafts at Craft Fairs and do quite well, the Lord has blessed us.  The trees are turning color and are very pretty.  Jehovah Rohi (The Lord is my Shepherd)

9.26.2012 --- We had a great time in Chesapeake Bay, VA with our church family there.  The pastor's wife (Julie) is expecting her 14th child; yes, it's a house full.  They invited us for dinner and believe it or not, we all sat at the extended table together; it was like the Walton's super-sized.
We made it to Hershey, PA today, it is a nice area.  Two of the daughters and two grandchildren will be here on Friday for a few days, looking forward to it.
Immanuel (God is with us)

9.16.2012 --- Tammy spent the past week in St Petersburg, FL to be with Tina.  Tina was placed in Westside Hospice Care on 9.7.2012 for severe pain in her head; which turned out to be the rapid growth of the tumor.  The doctors informed Daniel that Tina had about a week to live.  Within six days Tina had passed.  Tina's two sons, her husband and Tammy were at her bedside until the end.  Tammy returned to Virginia on 9.15.2012 to be with Gunny and grieve.  El Shaddai (The All Sufficient One)

9.4.2012 --- We arrived in Gloucester, VA near the Chesapeake Bay on 8.30.2012.  Last Saturday we participated in a Craft Fair here at the Thousand Trails RV Resort; it was the best day we have had for selling so far.  On Sunday we attended the Calvary Chapel, which we are friends with the Pastor and his family of 13 1/2.  On our way here from North Carolina both of the trailer batteries decided to give out, so we had to replace them, not mention the flat tire.  Also, the alternator on the van stopped charging, it needs to be replaced while we are here.  If it's mechanical, it will break!  Jehovah Shammah (The Lord my Companion)

8.23.2012 --- We had a coupon for Coldstone Creamery, so we went for a bike ride to Winston-Salem, NC for some great ice cream.  There is a hurricane (Isaac) headed for Florida, right where we were; thank God we are not there right now.  Tina & Daniel are there as well as the RNC in Tampa.  The next few days will determine what happens to the residents, we continue to pray for them.  Jehovah Nissi (God is our Banner)

8.12.2012 --- We arrived at Forest Lake, Advance, NC a few days ago.  The weather has been pretty nice other than a couple of days of rain.  We will be setting up at some craft fairs while we are here.  It will be nice to relax a bit.  God is Gracious

8.2.2012 --- We are still in Fair Play, SC until next week.  We found a local Farmer's Market and sold some of our products last Saturday; we will sell again on this Saturday.  We get to talk with people about Jesus which is easy here in this very conservative state.  on August 1st, we ate lunch at Chick-Fil-A in Anderson, SC thereby showing our support for the values of this business; the people were in line out of the door and stayed busy all day.  So much for the liberal's boycott.  Jehovah Nissi (God is our Banner)

7.20.2012 --- We arrived in Fair Play, SC a couple of days ago.  We have a campsite surrounded by pine trees, it's good to have the shade because the weather has been very hot.  We will be here for three weeks.  The drive from Florida was nice, other than the down pour through northern FL, it's nice to be away from the storm state.  God is Gracious.

7.1.2012 --- Bad news about Tina, she has 14 more tumors behind her brain and numerous other masses throughout her body.  She is on a new medication now, radiation is out and the chemo did not work.  We continue to pray for a full recovery; God CAN do it.
We had a Craft Fair this past weekend and did very well, we continue to sell on Fridays at the local Farmers Market in Clermont, FL.  We will be visiting the east coast this summer starting in a couple of weeks; South Carolina will be the first stop.  Jehovah Rapha (God our Healer)

6.18.2012 --- We are still in Florida working occasionally and doing fine.  Last week there were two storms; one from the Gulf and one from the Atlantic that collided directly over us.  There were about 4000 lightening strikes in an hour, that was pretty hairy.  We are registered at a large art and craft fair this coming weekend.  Gunny has been stocking up on supplies so maybe we won't run out; but if we do, that's alright.  Godspeed

5.13.2012 --- Tammy continues to work part time as an Independent Contractor for merchandising in various locations.  Gunny is doing well selling the Disciple's Cross and Survival Bracelets at Craft Fairs in the area.  Number 2 daughter, Jaclyn has started making Survival Bracelets and selling them.  Daniel and Tina spent Saturday with us at the RV Resort in Clermont, FL; we played mini-golf, went swimming, ate ice cream and had some pizza, we were exhausted.  God is Faithful

5.1.2012 --- We spent the weekend at Leesburg, FL Bikefest, there were a lot of bike and bikers.  Gunny & Bunny manned the CMA Booth handing out rag tracts and the like.  On Sunday, CMA sponsored a free breakfast for anyone who was up at 0800; which was quite a few.  After the breakfast was worship and a devotion to start the day.  It was an awesome weekend with the Lord.  Jehovah Nissi (the Lord is our banner)

4.16.2012 --- We spent the weekend in St Petersburg, FL with Daniel & Tina.  Daniel entered his train layout in the annual train show in St Pete.  We saw many nice layouts and some really cool model trains.  Gunny won a train set as a door prize on Saturday; then on Sunday, he won another train set for helping with the break-down of the train layout.  Tammy spent Sunday with Tina and went to a nearby park where she saw two small alligators.  It was a great weekend for us both.  God is Good

4.12.2012 --- Yesterday was Tammy's & Tina's B-day.  Gunny & Tammy went to Denny's for a free Grand Slam and it was good.  We will celebrate all together this weekend in St. Petersburg, FL.  Daniel has a model train show that he has entered; we are looking forward to seeing all of the model train displays.  Today we spent the day in St. Cloud, FL having some work done on the Airstream.  The rear was sagging, so we had some braces installed; a few hundred dollars later, we are back at the Thousand Trails in Clermont, FL (it is called TTN Orlando).  Jehovah Jireh (God is our Provider)

4.2.2012 --- We went to a funeral today for a CMA member, Steve Weiss.  He passed last Sunday from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash.  Steve was a former Marine, Law Enforcement Officer and loved to ride, as we do.  The Patriot Guard was at the funeral with flags and escorted the hearse along with all of the CMA members to the VA National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.  Steve was 74 years of age and has the same birthdate as Tammy & Tina, only several years earlier.  God bless Steve's family, he will be missed.

3.16.2012 --- We stayed in Daytona Beach, FL for two days and one night for bike week.  Of course it was congested, I'm sure the local residents get perturbed about all of the bikes being there.  Went to Destination Daytona early in the morning before all of the hangovers hit the event.  We had a nice time; about 400 miles round trip, no rain this time.  God's Angels were all around us for protection from the crazy drivers; did I mention that Florida drivers are not safe?

3.11.2012 --- We spent the weekend at the Christian Motorcyclists Association Florida State Rally in Starke, FL.  The weather did not cooperate; we rode 200 miles in the rain there and 200 miles in the rain back.  The Rally was a great time with like minded bikers, 541 of them.  Tammy won a prize at her lady's tea seminar and Gunny ate too much.  Although we had fun, it is a blessing to be back in our own trailer.  God bless

2.19.2012 --- We spent yesterday at the Florida State Fair in Tampa, FL with Tammy's sister and her husband (Tina & Daniel).  We had an absolutely wonderful day, even the ride to Tampa was good; and that doesn't happen often on the I-4. Today we spent a few hours selling our Disciple's Cross and Survival Bracelet at the RV Park's Craft Fair.  It was our first time selling the product for our ministry, we did alright.  Tammy has another job tomorrow installing a poster frame and a brochure rack in a doctors office, every little bit helps.  The Florida State CMA Rally is coming up the second weekend in March, we are looking forward to that.  God provides.  (Jehovah Jireh)

2.11.2012 --- We have been traveling between Wauchula, FL and Clermont, FL three weeks at each RV park.  Gunny has started making Survival Bracelets and Disciple's Crosses to sell both on our website and at the RV parks.  Tammy continues to work at various jobs through her many clients; she conducted her first sample lady demo at a Super Target in Clermont, FL.  We are making money to save for our trip in June to CMA's National Rally in Iron Mountain, AR.  We are also planning a trip to Daytona Beach, FL Bike Week in March.  We have been attending a church that we enjoy named Family Christian Center in Clermont, FL.  God is Faithful.

1.29.2012
--- Today we went for a ride and unknowingly, until it was too late, rode through a swarm of bees.  We immediately pulled to the side of the rode and emptied our vests of hitchhikers; no stings, thank God.  We then continued on our way to see Solomon's Castle in Ona, FL.  This man built a castle out in the middle of no-mans land along with a restaurant.  There were many people there including dozens of bikers; it was a real nice day to ride.  Praise the LORD.

1.10.2012 --- Florida has the WORST/UNSAFEST/STUPIDEST drivers compared to any other places we have been, this includes foreign countries.  We can not even count how many times we have been close to being hit on the motorcycle.
We spent Christmas with Daniel & Tina in St. Petersburg, FL; we had a real nice visit.  Tina's most recent PET scan showed the masses shrinking, this is all a credit to prayer, we are certain of that. Tammy has some jobs scheduled for later this month and in February, this will help with saving for our trip to Christian Motorcyclists Association's National Rally in Arkansas this coming June.  God is Faithful.

12.21.2011 --- We have been staying busy and are in Wauchula, FL until after Christmas.  Tammy had a Best Buy audit in a town near Ft. Lauderdale, FL, it was about a 400 mile trip on the bike.  We will be spending Christmas with Tammy's sister and husband, Tina & Daniel.  God bless America.

12.8.2011 --- Gunny registered with the Orlando VA Medical Center and has multiple appointments over the next two months.  We will be going to our next RV resort tomorrow in Wauchula, FL near the Peace River, we will stay there for three weeks.  The weather for the past week or so has been around 80 degrees, no complaints here.  Our Harley-Davidson has been in and out of the shop for the past two weeks.  The service technicians thought it was electrical issues, but as it turns out, it was a mechanical failure in the throttle body.  We will not use that repair shop again.  The drivers here are unsafe so we need to be especially watchful.  Our family is in need of prayer as well as us.  Jesus is the reason for the season.

11.26.2011 --- We made it to Orlando, FL last week, the weather has been warm and sunny.  We spent Thanksgiving Day watching the NFL in the RV Park lounge; our teams won.  The bike is in the shop, it has an electrical issue which is baffling the mechanics.  Yesterday Tammy set up our table-top Christmas Tree, it looks great; we both enjoy the Christmas season very much.  Gunny will register with the VA Medical Center next week, Tammy will be seen by the Medical Clinic on MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL.  God continues to bless us.

11.14.2011 --- We will miss the Calvary Chapel here in Gloucester, VA; Pastor Matt Sabo and his wife Julie are very nice godly people; we can see the fruit of the Spirit in their entire family.  We changed the front brake calipers on the van today, they work great.  We will start packing up tomorrow for our journey to Orlando, FL starting on Wednesday.  God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

11.12.2011 --- Daughters Jaclyn with children & Racheal came to visit us for several days, we had a very nice time together.  Went on a ride with a local CMA chapter today (Good News Riders in Newport News, VA); we rode along the Colonial Parkway between Williamsburg and Jamestown; the weather was nice for this time of year in Virginia.  We certainly do not deserve the blessings that our Lord has given us, but we accept them with open arms.

11.3.2011 --- We arrived in Gloucester, VA near the Chesapeake Bay on Sunday, we like it here.  The air is cool but not unbearable.  We met the local Calvary Chapel Pastor and his wife last night and look forward to continued fellowship with them and their thirteen children.  We rented a cabin for a week so Jaclyn & Racheal could drive down here and stay a few days; we really are looking forward to their visit.  We will be here for two weeks.  God is Gracious.

10.14.2011 --- The weather here in Clinton, IN is getting cold, we will be leaving this area in a couple of weeks.  Three more days of work and we will have the money saved for fuel to get us to Virginia and Florida.  God is Good.

10.9.2011 --- The colors on the trees here in Indiana are amazing.  We finally saved the money for new tires on the van, so we went to Indianapolis, IN and installed new rubber.  We have reserved a cabin in Chesapeake Bay, VA so two of our daughters, Jaclyn & Racheal can come to visit and stay for a week; we are looking forward to the visit.  We continue to work at Sony DADC and Tammy is feeling the pain in her neck and shoulders.  Christ will continue to give us strength.

9.24.2011 --- Gunny & Tammy continue to work at Sony DADC in Terre Haute, IN.  Twelve hour shifts three days in a row and on our feet all day is taking a toll on our bodies.  The Lord will give us strength to endure.

9.10.2011 --- Tammy returned from Florida safely, thank you Jesus.  Tina is still going through chemo therapy and is handling it just fine.   We continue to work at the Sony plant to make money for the
needed vehicle maintenance.  The weather is cooling a bit and it is harvest time for the corn and soy beans.  We have decided to stay in Indiana until the end of October; God wants us here for now.  Calvary Chapel Terre Haute, IN will be starting a radio station in the next few months.  The radio station will be focusing on teaching the Word of God.  We continue to be blessed by our Lord.

9.1.2011 --- Tammy is in St. Petersberg FL with her sister Tina, she will be there for 4 days.  We went to the CMA Indiana State Rally two weeks ago in Marion IN; what a great time of worship and fellowship.  We have been working at the Sony DADC plant in Terre Haute, IN a couple of days a week to earn extra money for fuel and vehicle maintenance.  We will be in Indiana for another month or so.  God is Good.

8.11.2011 --- Tammy's sister, (Tina) was approved by the cancer center in Tampa, FL for chemo therapy.  Thank you for all of the prayers.  We went on a ride with the Terre Haute, IN chapter of CMA to a church in Shelbyville, IN.  The weather here has been very nice.

8.4.2011 --- We are in need of some mechanical repairs so Gunny & Tammy are working two days a week at the Sony DVD Division in Terre Haute, IN.  We took the bike in for the last warranty repair; seven years of warranty is gone.  The van needs new tires and brakes, the A/C motor on the Airstream went out and we need to save for fuel to make it down to Florida.  Tammy's sister (Tina Sissom) is not doing well, the cancer is spreading and she doesn't know if chemo will be covered by the insurance; please keep the Sissom family in your prayers.  God is in control.

7.14.2011 --- Tammy's twin sister, Tina, after surviving breast cancer last year, has now developed three masses on the back of her brain, two spots in her lungs and spots in the bones in her legs.  She has gone through 10 days of radiation treatment and will start chemo next week.  We will be heading to Florida, where Tina lives, after we save some more fuel money.  We are asking for your prayers to give her peace and the Lord's will to be done.  Thank you.

7.12.2011 --- We started out for Indiana from Sacramento, CA two weeks ago; well, we didn't make it far, about 50 miles.  We were going up a grade when we heard a clunk.  At first, we thought it was the transmission, so we had the trailer towed to my dad's house in Auburn, CA and the van towed to a transmission shop.  Upon further inspection, the clunk was the pinion gear in the rear-end breaking.  We had that repaired.  Then, when the mechanic was servicing the transmission, he noticed metal shavings in the pan.  So, a rebuild was in order, which we did not have the money for after paying for the rear-end repairs.  The owner of the shop asked her suppliers to donate the needed parts and the shop donated the labor; so, no charge.  God is Good.  This was an unexpected blessing.
After two trailer flat tires and some front brake issues, we made it to Clinton IN, even in time for Wednesday night service at CC Terre Haute, IN.  We will be here for a month; we need the rest.

6.23.2011 --- We arrived in Oregon House, CA @ Lake of the Springs.  We will be here for a few days.  Our plans have changed slightly; we will leave here on 7.1.2011 and head for Indiana, we should be there by the 5th.  The weather has been great and we have been swimming in the lake and in the pool as well as playing mini golf.  This is a nice place, God's creation.

6.17.2011 --- Over the past two weeks Gunny & Tammy have been working in the following cities:  Salinas, Marina, Yuba City, Sacramento and Redding.  We have made enough money to pay for the outrageous price of fuel to get us to Terre Haute, IN.  We will be departing California on 7.1.2011.  God has blessed us beyond our expectations.

5.30.2011 --- We went to a Memorial Day Tribute at Calvary Christian Center in Yuba City, CA.  It was a production and play presented by "A Grateful Nation Remembers".  The best Tribute we have seen.  God bless our troops.

5.26.2011 --- We are back in Nicolaus, CA for three weeks.  The mountains were still too cold.  We will be here until 6.13.2011, then off to Colorado.

5.25.2011 --- Tammy had an audit job at a "Best Buy" in Marin City, CA, so we spent two nights dry camping in the parking lot; no one seemed to mind us being there.  Praise God.

5.17.2011 --- We are at Gunny's dad's house, in Auburn, CA, visiting for a few days.

5.12.2011 --- We dropped-off the Harley at a dealership in Folsom, CA for some warranty work; it should be ready next week.

5.10.2011 --- We arrived in Lotus, CA at a resort named "Ponderosa", on the south fork of the "American River".  We have been watching kayakers paddle by in the white water.  We will be here until 5.24.2011.

5.7.2011 --- Went on a ride with a CMA chapter from Sacramento, CA called "Spirit Warriors".  It was the annual "Run For The Son" fund raiser.  We had breakfast with the "Grandfathers MC" in Colfax, CA, then rode to the "Alta Sierra Biblical Gardens" in Grass Valley, CA.

4.22.2011 --- We returned from spending a couple of days in Redding, CATammy went to see her periodontist, so we stayed the night there.  Overall about a 300 mile trip on the bike; great weather.  God is Good.

4.12.2011 --- We arrived in Nicolaus, CA at an RV resort named "lake Minden", and yes there is a lake here.  We set-up camp and found out our DirecTV receiver doesn't work anymore; so we canceled the service.  The money saved there will help us with rising cost of fuel.  We will be here until 5.10.2011.  Tammy has family up the road so we will visit them while we are here.

4.11.2011 --- Today is Tammy's B-day.  We went to breakfast at "Denny's" in Morgan Hill, CA and later we will have ice cream.

4.9.2011 --- We joined a CMA chapter in San Jose, CA for a breakfast meeting and a ride.  The chapter name is "Gospel Wheels."  A nice bunch of believers who welcomed us as one of their own.  After breakfast we went on a ride together to Half Moon Bay, north west of San Jose, CA.

3.27.2011 --- We visited Calvary Chapel Gilroy, CA today and were shown the traditional procedure for the Passover observance taught by "Jews for Jesus".  This was very impressive; to learn more visit:  JewsforJesus.org.  Today is the first sunny day in the past week.

3.25.2011 --- We arrived in Morgan Hill, CA on Tuesday and found a nice and  large campsite.  It has been raining for a couple days and the creek in the campground overflowed into a number of campsites, including ours.  There is sunny weather in the forecast so some bike riding will be in order.  We will be here until 4.12.2011.

3.18.2011 --- For the past couple of months the power steering pump on the van has been making noise.  We decided it was time to replace it.  So, last week we picked up a pump in Salinas, CA and installed it; it leaked.  We returned the pump to an Autozone in Hollister, CA and ordered another one.  The new pump was coming from the east coast and the FedEx truck carrying it got delayed somewhere.  So, we ordered another pump to replace the original order.  The two pumps ordered arrived on the same day, a week after ordering.  We installed the first pump and it did not work; so we went to the Autozone in Hollister, CA and exchanged and installed the steering pump right there in the parking lot and finished minutes after starting to rain; the second pump worked great.  If the FedEx truck hadn't got stuck and we had to wait to order another pump, the time past would have been close to two weeks.  God knew we needed that other steering pump so he made arrangements to get it to us when needed.  God's timing is perfect!

3.12.2011 --- We got to hang out with some friends who were visiting Hollister, CA for a weekend out-reach.  Worship @ Mars Hill Coffee House on Saturday night; then more worship @ Hollister Christian Fellowship on Sunday morning.  God's timing is amazing; what are the chances we would be in the same area the same time our friends were here?

3.4.2011 --- Today is our 5th wedding anniversary; we went to dinner and spoiled ourselves.  God is Good.

3.2.2011 --- This Weather Channel forecasted rain for this day in our area; God said NO and gave us great weather for our final leg to the RV Resort in Paicines, CA.  Arrived at the resort and set-up camp, except for one of the ends on the coaxial for the satellite TV broke.  No live TV until we get that fixed.  We will be here until 3.22.2011.

3.1.2011 --- We hit the road again and on the way stopped in Solvang, CA to have a danish and coffee; very good.  Paid $4.10 per gallon of diesel, OUCH!
On the way north we dropped into Vandenberg AFB to shop at the commissary; maybe that made up for the rising price of fuel.  Stayed the night at a Walmart parking lot in Salinas, CA

2.8.2011
--- We arrived in the Los Padres National Forest near Santa Barbara, CA.  The weather is sunny during the day; mid to upper 60's; the night gets cold.  We are able to ride the bike during the day.  The phone service is next to non-existent, but it is kind of nice to get back to no phone.  A few miles from the resort, the trailer brakes decided not to work, while we were descending a 7% grade.  At the bottom of the hill, with our van front brakes smoking and on fire, we used a fire extinguisher to calm the flames.  We are blessed to have no damage done to either the van or the trailer.  With a couple of days of inspection, we trouble shot the problem; a ground wire was not connected.  We now have trailer brakes.
Nearby is Lake Cachuma and the Danish town of Solvang, also the Santa Barbara Mission.  We will be here until 3.1.2011.
